The Middle and High School Appeal form is available here.
The appeal due-date is Monday, April 23, 2021.
 
There will also be an Elementary Appeal process similar to the Middle and High School Appeal. The due-date is Monday May 24, 2021. The Appeal Form is available here.

Second Lottery due-date was April 12, 2021 *(extended from April 5, 2021). 

 

  • In-area* requests for community schools will be honored continuously without being entered in the lottery (address verification may be required).
  • Magnet requests will be entered to go through the second lottery, which will focus on magnet requests and plaacemetns.
  • Out-of-area** community school requests will be added to waiting lists. Following the initial lottery, most community schools have already reached their out-of-area capacity and will not receive additional out-of-area placements.
  • Requests may be submitted after the second lottery due-date, and are processed on a rolling basis. Submit requests for the 2021-2022 school year here.

* In-area request refers to a school request for the community school for the attendance area in which the student resides. As long as there is capacity, we will always place a student at their community school when requested.

** Out-of-area request refers to a school request for the community school of an attendance area in which the student does not live. A certain percentage of out-of-area placements can be made at community elementary, middle and high schools, but according to the district's placement priority protocols, in-area requests are to be prioritized over out-of-area requests.
