Sullivan STEAM School

About Our School
Sullivan STEAM School fosters creativity and critical thinking

Sullivan STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math), a citywide magnet school, welcomes students from throughout the city. Located in a quiet, residential part of the Longfellow neighborhood, Sullivan is near parks, the Mississippi River, and the Midtown Greenway. Each day, teachers engage students in project-based learning activities that encourage them to problem-solve and understand the relevance of what they are learning. Sullivan’s innovative programming provides students with inquiry-based experiences infused with technology, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking throughout the everyday STEAM learning environment.

Sullivan also provides the Somali Heritage Language and Culture Program, an opportunity for students to learn and explore the Somali language and culture. Classes begin in Kindergarten.
