Susan B. Anthony Community School offers a transformative learning experience

Susan B. Anthony Community, located in Southwest Minneapolis’s Kenny neighborhood, has been an International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme since 2012. Anthony engages authentically with its diverse community through relevant instruction, real relationships, and unyielding compassion, focusing on equity, humanity, and social justice. All students belong to grade-level teams that meet weekly. Anthony students show leadership as Peer Mediators, Student Council representatives, Student Ambassadors who help acclimate new students to the school, and emcees for special events. An Anthony education not only shapes who students become, but also how they impact the world around them.

Minnesota Report Card Data

The Minnesota Report Card is a tool to help inform families and communities about their schools so they can make important decisions and meaningfully engage with schools and educators. However, Minnesota Report Card data only provides a partial snapshot of what the experience may be like at any given school. MPS recommends connecting directly with school leaders and communities through school tours, open houses and other events to gain a fuller understanding of how our schools support students and families.
