Whittier Community School offers a high-quality community school experience

Whittier Community is a community school serving nearby students and families in South Minneapolis’ Whittier neighborhood, and has a strong International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).  Students  and families who are a part of the  Whittier school community shape the way the school reflects and exemplifies the culture and fabric of its community. Whittier is a place where all children, through rigorous academics and supportive relationships, develop a strong sense of who they are and where they come from. Students develop unique ways of looking at the world around them to gain truly global perspectives right in their own neighborhood.
