Lake Harriet Lower and Upper Community Schools guide and empower students to love learning

Serving grades K-2, Lake Harriet Lower Community is located in the heart of the Fulton and Linden Hills neighborhoods of Southwest Minneapolis. Lake Harriet Lower offers an intimate setting ideally suited for young learners in kindergarten through grade 2, with its grades 3-5 counterpart, Lake Harriet Upper Community, less than two miles away. The school’s strong academic program, coupled with fun and engaging extracurricular activities, make Lake Harriet Lower an ideal neighborhood school. Staff include each child’s unique learning style and identity through AmazeWorks curriculum and differentiated teaching methods. All students--regardless of their background, zip code, and personal needs-- will receive an anti-racist, holistic education that builds essential knowledge to prepare students for future success.
