Marcy

Marcy School for the Arts integrates the arts to deepen students’ relationships to their community, their world, and themselves.

Marcy School for the Arts, located in the Marcy Holmes neighborhood, welcomes PK-5 students from throughout the city. Students experience learning where the arts are incorporated into all core subjects. Students’ learning is showcased and enhanced through arts experiences such as artist residencies, field trips, and performances. The arts allow students to feel empowered to create, participate, and find joy  in their own way.

Marcy values family/caregiver engagement and provides multiple opportunities for families to celebrate learning. Arts programming continues at Franklin STEAM magnet for middle school and at FAIR School for Arts for high school.

Minnesota Report Card Data

The Minnesota Report Card is a tool to help inform families and communities about their schools so they can make important decisions and meaningfully engage with schools and educators. However, Minnesota Report Card data only provides a partial snapshot of what the experience may be like at any given school. MPS recommends connecting directly with school leaders and communities through school tours, open houses and other events to gain a fuller understanding of how our schools support students and families.
