Located in its namesake neighborhood in Southeast Minneapolis, Hiawatha Elementary School serves grades K-2 and is within walking distance of Minnehaha Falls, and four blocks from its 3-5  feeder school, Howe Elementary School. Howe and Hiawatha maximize individual and collective student potential through differentiated instruction, critical thinking, high expectations, and strategic use of technology within a nurturing and diverse community of learners.
